SDI Atlanta's New Architectural Photography & Video Lead: Marvin Sease Jr.

Exciting news from Sun Dog Imagery! As many of you know, I've recently relocated to the Salt Lake City area to join the innovative team at Rocky Mountain LiDAR Professionals as their Business Development Manager. In this role, I'm leveraging my expertise as an sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft System) Pilot and my business acumen to help drive growth and explore new opportunities within the cutting-edge world of LiDAR technology. While my focus has broadened, my passion for capturing compelling imagery remains as strong as ever, and Sun Dog Imagery continues to thrive!
Today, I'm delighted to introduce a talented photographer who will be instrumental in our continued success, particularly with our exciting projects in the vibrant city of Atlanta: Marvin Sease Jr.
Many of you in the Atlanta area may already be familiar with Marvin's exceptional work. As a seasoned lifestyle and wedding photographer based in Atlanta, Marvin has a remarkable ability to capture the heart and soul of every moment. His portfolio showcases a deep passion for storytelling through imagery, whether it's the grandeur of a sweeping landscape or the intimate connection between people.
What truly sets Marvin apart, and makes him an invaluable asset to Sun Dog Imagery, is that Marvin is also a certified Part 107 sUAS pilot. This expertise not only enhances his photographic capabilities but also creates a natural synergy with the aerial data acquisition services offered by Rocky Mountain LiDAR Professionals. His understanding of aerial perspectives and regulations makes him uniquely positioned to capture compelling imagery for a variety of projects.
Interestingly, Marvin is also a self-proclaimed "Uber-techie geek," fascinated by the latest advancements in photography and technology. This enthusiasm for innovation, coupled with his artistic eye and his piloting skills, makes him the perfect partner to capture the intricate details and dynamic perspectives of architectural projects and potentially contribute to aerial imaging needs in the future.
While my primary focus will be on my role as Business Development Manager at Rocky Mountain LiDAR Professionals, where my perspective as an sUAS Pilot offers unique insights into aerial data acquisition and my business acumen helps forge strategic partnerships, I am thrilled to have Marvin leading our photography endeavors in Atlanta. His deep understanding of the city, his established network, and his exceptional talent, coupled with his Part 107 certification, will ensure that our Atlanta clients continue to receive the high-quality imagery they've come to expect from Sun Dog Imagery, potentially with expanded aerial capabilities.
This strategic expansion marks an exciting new chapter for Sun Dog Imagery, establishing a strong presence in both Atlanta and Salt Lake City. In Atlanta, Marvin Sease Jr.'s exceptional talent and aerial expertise will continue our commitment to delivering outstanding visual storytelling in the Southeast. Simultaneously, Sun Dog Imagery is also growing in the Mountain West, where I will be leveraging my experience and sUAS piloting skills to expand our services in aerial and architectural photography, informed by my work exploring innovative applications of aerial data and imagery at Rocky Mountain LiDAR Professionals. This dual operational hub allows us to offer a wider range of creative and precise visual solutions across diverse regions. Crucially, please note that all post-processing for Sun Dog Imagery projects, regardless of location, will continue to be managed through my office. This ensures that our clients will continue to receive the consistent, high-quality aesthetic and attention to detail they have always experienced with Sun Dog Imagery.
We are incredibly excited about this new chapter for Sun Dog Imagery and warmly welcome Marvin to continue services in the Southeast. We invite you to explore his work and look forward to the stunning visuals he will be creating for our Atlanta-based clients, now with the added dimension of his Part 107 piloting skills. Stay tuned for more updates on our projects in both Atlanta and Salt Lake City!
